Texting while driving results in slow reaction time.

Cell phones were not in existence few years ago, but the trend has changed. Teens prefer Mobiles because they believe that life without mobile is miserable. Well, that true to some extent. But your life can becomes miserable if you text message while driving and this is also true to most extent.

A study in the journal “Human Factors” says why texting (sending SMS) while driving is dangerous when compared to talking to somebody on phone or with a fellow passenger on board. The tests say that the reaction time is decreases incredibly while sending SMS while driving. Reading time has most effect on drivers than composing a message. Mobile apps like DriveSafe.ly should come handy where you can hear to the incoming messages or mails you receive in your mobile with just a touch.

However, the attention switches to the other side while texting and hence the reaction time has some effect on it.
